A life-long Effingham County resident, Phil graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in business education. While attending school, Phil would buy cars, fix them up, and sell them! He quickly realized it was something he loved and in 2006, Teutopolis Auto Sales was established! In the past eighteen years, Phil has grown the business from a handful of cars to a complete lot full of reliable cars, trucks, vans, and SUV’s. Phil strives to help the people of Effingham County and surrounding areas have dependable transportation. Phil has a passion to help people chase their dreams and because of that, Teutopolis Auto Sales offers guaranteed credit approval where he’s able to help people mend or build their credit. Phil has been married to Shannon for 25 years and they have two children, Sidney (25) and Becca (23). In Phil’s spare time he enjoys traveling with his family and enjoying the peace and quiet in a deer stand.

Dylan is the Sales and Finance Manager at Teutopolis Auto Sales and has been a valued member of the team since 2025. He works closely with customers to help them find the right vehicle to fit their needs and budget, providing knowledgeable guidance throughout the entire sales process. On the finance side, Dylan handles all the paperwork, explains loan and lease options clearly, and works to secure competitive financing for every buyer. His goal is to make the car-buying experience smooth, transparent, and hassle-free from start to finish.

Jessica has been with us since 2016. She is a graduate of Altamont High School and Parkland College. Jessica resides in Altamont with her husband, Tayler, and their two children. Jessica is accountable for the execution, recording, and timely reporting of functions for the general ledger. She is also responsible for all human resource relations as well as managing marketing campaigns and collaborations. In her spare time, you can find her traveling the states watching her daughter compete in All-Star Cheerleading, coaching her son's little league team, wakeboarding on the lake, or working on a home renovation project with her husband. Her dreams include building the next family home, traveling the world, and having a funny farm in her backyard.
